Nuclear power is clean, safe and renewable - so why has Australia banned it?

For more than 60 years, nuclear power has been safely generating energy globally. It emits no harmful pollutants, making it one of the cleanest energy sources available. And as nuclear fuel is renewable, it's a sustainable option for the future.

So why has Australia prohibited nuclear power? Nuclear plants can be tricky to build and manage, and there's always a risk of accidents.
