Daisy Cousens

Media Commentator

Daisy is a YouTuber, political and cultural commentator, and (occasional) provocateur based in Brisbane, Australia. She runs a YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/DaisyCousensOfficial), where she creates engaging and (hopefully) amusing cultural and political video commentary. She is also a regular TV contributor to Sky News Australia, with regular spots on The Bolt Report and Front Page. She has also appeared regularly on Credlin, Paul Murray Live, Hardgrave, The Friday Show, ABC’s QandA, ABC2’s Hack Live, and The Project.

She graduated from the University of Sydney in 2015 with a Master of Creative Writing; preceded by a Bachelor of Music at the Australian Institute of Music, and a Bachelor of Arts at Macquarie University. Soon after completing her Masters, Daisy became a chief contributor at SheSaid Online Magazine, and in 2016 began contributing to The Spectator Australia. She is a regular columnist for The Courier Mail, and her focus is political ideology, culture, and satire.

Along with The Spectator and The Courier Mail, Daisy has also contributed to Mamamia and Penthouse Magazine (for the articles). She was a speaker at the Annual Freidman Conference in 2017, 2018, and 2019, focussing on identity politics, the trials of being a feminist ‘apostate’, and Western civilisation. Daisy also spoke at the LibertyFest Conference in Brisbane in 2017 and 2018. She will also be appearing at the #Minds IRL event in New Jersey on August 31st, alongside some of YouTube’s finest political commentators; Carl Benjamin (Sargon of Akkad), Count Dankula, Blair White, Tim Pool, and more.
